It started because I kept hearing about them

I’ve always been drawn to natural products, and I love supporting local companies whenever I can. Beauty From Bees checks both of those boxes — and on top of that, it’s female-owned, which matters to me. So when their products kept coming up in conversation with great reviews, I thought: why not give it a try myself?

I started with their body serum, tried a couple of the scents, and I was hooked. The Sweet Vanilla is my absolute favourite. The Orange is a close second. Both smell incredible without being overpowering.

The thing I’d never done before: damp skin

I’ll be honest — I had never used a product that you apply to damp skin. That was new to me. But that’s exactly what makes it work. You put it on right after your bath or shower, while your skin still has a little moisture, and it gives you this genuine glow. It’s not a gimmick. My skin actually looked more hydrated.

My skin tends to be on the dry side, especially through our Vancouver winters. This has become the one product I don’t skip. I started on the 250 ml bottle and used it so often that I’ve since upgraded to the large 1 litre size. That tells you everything.

My homestead beauty moment

Summer is a whole different kind of dry for my skin. I’m outside on the homestead all day, working in the sun, and it takes a toll — my skin just craves the moisture.
