Generally the average amount of wine per guest is about 1 serving per hour. Most wedding receptions are about 4-6 hours therefore would need about 4-6 servings. There are 5 servings of wine in each bottle so another way to look at it would be about 1- 1.5 bottles per guest over 4-6 hours.
Our batches only come in increments of 30 bottles of wine per kit unless you are purchasing dessert wine. Our packages are based batches that should be enough for the amount of guests you anticipate at your wedding.

The first thing to check is whether or not the venue will even allow you to bring in your own wine. Some venues require that you select wines off their pre-existing list. Other venues will allow you to bring in your own wine but they also might charge a corkage fee per bottle.
Assuming your venue allows you to bring in wine, typically you’ll want to pick a sparkling wine, a white and a red.
At Cork It, you can turn any varietal of your choice into a lovely bubbly for your big day! Some of our more popular choices are Pinot Grigio and Chablis. Perfect to serve to guests for the big toast!
Fall, Winter and Spring Weddings: People tend to drink more red wine at indoor weddings in the fall, spring and winter. Consider a mix of about 50% of red wine for this type of wedding.
Summer and Outdoor weddings: Outdoor weddings on hot days will have people drinking more white wine. Consider a mix of 30% each of all 3 styles of wine ( red/white/sparkling). You might also think about serving rosé, especially if you’re serving fish or seafood.
